MASTERS PROGRAM (Ages 18+) Practice Schedule/Format: Upcoming Practice Schedule: Late January-April Practice Schedule:
Normal Practice Schedule: Please click here for maps to all practice locations Tuesday &Thursday practices are at Carrollton-Farmers Branch Natatorium, 7:30 – 9:00 pm. The Tuesday practice will be geared towards skill improvement. The Thursday practice will essentially be a "game day", largely devoted to scrimmaging. Sundays are generally at the Carroll ISD Aquatics Center (Southlake), 11:00 am-1:00 pm. During the summer, many Sunday Practices are at the Town North YMCA from 10:50 am-12:50 pm. Sunday practices will be a mixture of "skills & drills" and then a scrimmage.
St Marks School of Texas is another alternate practice location and it is used as a back-up when other pools are unavailable. Changes to the normal practice schedule will be posted online above. Please click here for maps to all practice locations
Fee Structure: Masters athletes are charged by season. There is also a yearly payment option and discount for college players in the summer. All payments need to be made out to Dallas Water Polo Club. Seasons (dues): primary home tournaments are listed in parenthesisSpring ($100): February thru Early May (Charles Dutton Memorial, March 6-7) Summer ($100): Early May thru Mid August (Dallas Summer Classic, June 19-20) Fall ($100): Late August thru Mid November (Dallas Fall Invite, November 6-7) Winter ($100): Mid-November thru earlyFebruary (Polar Bear League, various dates) Full Year (paid in advance): $340 (15% discount) Alternative Fees: For the summer season, returning college athletes will be charged a reduced rate of $75. If someone joins as a new player half way through the season, we will prorate the season fee (this will not apply to current members). Tournament Fees: the Masters entry fee for a home tournament will be $20 (in addition to helping out at the table). Participation in away toournaments will be a $40 entry fee. The Polar Bear League entry fee is included in the Winter Season Dues. |
